Good things grow from what you plant
A few months ago, we planted a little garden. I didn’t go into it with high hopes, seeing as how I’ve kept a total of 2 plants alive . . ever. One of my neighbours who keeps a nice garden did assure me, “the worst that can happen is they die and you buy new ones, they’re cheap.” That’s the kind of motivational encouragement I needed to get started.
At first, it was mostly soil and unfounded hope. But now 6 weeks later nothing has died, we’ve got bees, butterflies, and ladybugs making themselves at home. It’s like the garden quietly sent out an invitation.
Maybe the same thing happens with us.
When we put good things out into the world (kindness, patience, effort, boundaries, joy) it draws good things in. It doesn’t usually happen instantly, and it’s always in the way we expect, but something does happen. You attract what you cultivate.
This week, I want to ask you to notice what you’re planting. Think about your mindset, your relationships, and your choices. Are you planting the kind of seeds that will bring more of what you want into your life?
If you need help figuring out what to plant next, that’s what I’m here for. Coaching isn’t just for when things go wrong, it’s for when you’re ready to grow something good and make a change.
